Hey Liudas,

Sorry for the late reply. I'll look into why it started doing this, could be one of the recent fixes. So funny that we haven't noticed this.

Thanks!

There are small bug( maybe not bug) in your code - when two texts are equal, diff returns both text joined. Texts check before going to diff, solves this.

I don't understand counting of index in "@@". It would be nice to see your "human-readable version of the solution" code.

Thanks,

Hey hristo!

Great work on the class. Everything's running quite smoothly nowadays. I'll be in touch as I do more experimentation, especially with using third party diff/patch suites with the diffs produced by Patch.as.

Have a wonderful day! :)

Hey Jack, it's all fixed and all, I was just pondering on some features.
I'll update the files here in a minute and I'll also mail you the right sources.

Neil's code, which is the Bitap class, is released under Apache 2. The other stuff just comes without warranty :)

We're working with Rich to clear the classes from bugs and to make them more useful for memo management. Rich is doing the unit testing, something I've always underestimated and stupidly avoided.

It all looks very good right now, but I'll postpone updates for a few more days so that we are certain that everything is bug-free.

Hi hristo!

Rich again. I'm just now getting around to experimenting with your Patch class. I'm confused, though. When I run this:

var p:Patch = new Patch();
p.diff('hi there. How you doing?', 'I said, hi there! How are you doing?');
trace(p.string);

the only diff I get is for 'I said, '. In other words, this is all that trace(p.string) outputs:

Thanks!
Let me know how it works, I've been wondering whether it'll be good for structured text
